XLRI marks a strong year as summer internship placements for 2025 wrap up

XLRI (Xavier School of Management) has closed its Summer Internship Placements for the 2025-27 batch. On November 13 in Jamshedpur, the institution announced that every participating student from its Jamshedpur and Delhi-NCR campuses has secured an internship offer.

This year, 583 students took part in the internship recruitment process and they collectively landed 584 offers from 114 top companies across industries. The list included 28 recruiters visiting the campus for the first time.

Strong stipend numbers

The placement season this year brought encouraging stipend figures. The average stipend touched ₹1.6 lakh per month. The median came in at ₹1.55 lakh per month. The highest offer of the season reached ₹3.5 lakh per month coming from the BFSI sector.

The top-performing students also saw remarkable numbers. The top 5% averaged ₹2.49 lakh per month. The top 10% averaged ₹2.40 lakh. And the top 25% averaged ₹2.23 lakh. A large chunk of the batch, 38%, received stipends above ₹2 lakh per month, while 62% crossed the ₹1.5 lakh mark, and 81% secured more than ₹1 lakh.

Director applauds students and recruiters

Speaking about the results, Dr (Fr) Sebastian George SJ, Director of XLRI Jamshedpur, shared his appreciation for the students. He also applauded the industry’s trust in the institution.

He said that the completion of the process is a strong example of XLRI’s commitment to shaping capable business leaders. Later he also thanked the recruiters for their continued confidence, the students for their dedication, and the faculty and placement committee for their persistent efforts.

Who hired the most?

Recruitment this year was spread across multiple popular domains. These included Consulting, Finance, Sales & Marketing, General Management, Product Management, Operations, IT, Human Resources.

Some of the most sought-after recruiters included Aditya Birla Group, Accenture Strategy, Amazon, American Express, Bajaj Auto, Boston Consulting Group (BCG), Flipkart, Hindustan Unilever Limited (HUL), ITC.

JP Morgan Chase offered the highest domestic stipend of the season.

Among the 28 new recruiters, names like Eternal, Standard Chartered, JioStar, UKG, Pine Labs, Meesho, Deloitte USI, Deutsche Bank Investment Banking, Diageo, Valorant Consulting, Philip Morris, Firstclub, and Joveo stood out.
