UP pitches ESDM push at Lucknow roundtable, unveils Nivesh Mitra 3.0 plan

Uttar Pradesh strengthened its push towards becoming a premier destination for Electronics System Design & Manufacturing (ESDM) as senior policymakers and top industry leaders convened for a high-level roundtable in Lucknow on Wednesday.

In his keynote address, Infrastructure & Industrial Development Commissioner Deepak Kumar highlighted the state’s progress towards the USD 1 trillion economy goal and reaffirmed its commitment to investor facilitation.

He announced that Nivesh Mitra 3.0 will be launched soon, strengthening single-window clearances and enabling faster industrial deployment & Ease of Doing Business in the state. He also noted the availability of land bank, 27 Integrated Manufacturing and Logistics Clusters-ready pockets for rapid industrial deployment, robust power supply, data centre ecosystem and emerging IT Parks that collectively support advanced manufacturing.

Reinforcing the state’s long-term development roadmap, advisor to the Chief Minister, Awanish K Awasthi, shared the USD 6 trillion vision for Uttar Pradesh by 2047 and stressed the importance of accelerating growth across electronics, IT, manufacturing, tourism, and emerging technologies.

Another Advisor to the Chief Minister, K.V. Raju, addressed the delegates and reaffirmed the State Government’s commitment to providing seamless support to investors. He assured industry leaders that Uttar Pradesh stands fully prepared to extend all necessary assistance to enterprises looking to establish or expand their operations in the state.

Speaking on the broader industrial landscape, Principal Secretary, Planning & Nodal Officer, Economic Growth Mission, Alok Kumar, underlined the state’s favourable investment climate, marked by progressive policies, improved law and order, and high-quality technical talent. He stated that Uttar Pradesh now offers one of the country’s strongest foundations for design-led and innovation-driven manufacturing.
