These days Nokia, once the most trusted and sellable mobile brand in India, has been very active in launching smartphones. They have launched their devices in every market segment to give people options.

Recently, Nokia by HMD Global, has come up with Nokia 3.2, a budget smartphone, priced at Rs 10,790. The phone has a big screen, big battery life, decent camera and average performance. But when it comes to low light the camera struggles and when one has to do multi-tasking, the phone struggles. But one can’t have everyhting at this price.

Design and display
When it comes design the phone has a sturdy build, with a mix of glass and plastic body. On the first go the phone will look heavy but it isn’t and one won’t find any problem using it. It has a big screen ~ 6.26-inch HD+, 19:9 aspect ratio with a waterdropshaped notch on the top. The display has good viewing angles and even colour reproduction is up to the mark.

Performance
Nokia 3.2 is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 429 systemon-chip (SoC), coupled with 3GB RAM and it runs on Android Pie OS. With this specification, the smartphone works fine with moderate usage like social media or browsing. However, it creates problem when frequently switching apps or when multiple
browsers are opened. Sometime scanner that is very accurate it hangs and the user has to wait for some time. Nokia should have worked a little here or
maybe their target was moderate user customers. Here, also they shouldn’t forget that these days everybody is highly dependent on phones or apps. Therefore, in the next launch they should avoid this flaw.

Battery and camera
The rear camera of Nokia 3.2 is 13.2-megapixel while it has 5MP front camera. Both its cameras ~ rear and front ~ work fine in proper lighting. The pictures taken can be well uploaded on social media sites. However, in low light, it is not up to the mark as it makes a sound and comes out with grainy pictures. Another loophole is that the device doesn’t have potrait mode, which is
a must feature for every device. But what can you expect in Rs 8000? The phone is powered by a 4,000mAh battery, which lasts for around two days on moderate usage.
