KOLKATA, 17 JUNE: LG Electronics India today decided to hike prices of home appliances by three to five per cent from tomorrow due to depreciation in the value of the rupee.
"Due to continuous rupee depreciation, it has become imperative for us to consider the price hike in India. Though we have been absorbing the increase in cost, but it will become difficult to avoid this change in the market prices," Mr YV Verma, director (home appliances), LG Electronics India, said in a statement issued here.
