Sensex down more than 300 points as geopolitical concerns weigh
BSE Sensex is down by more than 300 points on Tuesday as geopolitical factors continue to weigh on the markets.
The key Indian equity indices on Monday was trading flat in the morning session.
The 30-scrip Sensitive Index (Sensex), was trading flat at — 5.61 points or 0.02 per cent — lower soon after opening.
The wider 51-scrip Nifty of the National Stock Exchange (NSE) was also trading 8.75 points or 0.09 per cent lower at 9,970.95 points.

The Sensex of the BSE, which opened at 31,862.20 points, was trading at 31,808.61 points (at 9.19 a.m.), lower 5.61 points or 0.02 per cent from Friday’s close at 31,814.22 points.
The Sensex touched a high of 31,881.32 points and a low of 31,791.61 points in the trade so far.
