Software Engineer

Job Location: Bengaluru, India

Google’s software engineers develop the next-generation technologies that change how billions of users connect, explore, and interact with information and one another. Responsibilities

Qualifications

Minimum qualifications:

–          5 years of experience with systems software design.

–          Experience with one or more of the following areas: Server Backend Distributed and Parallel Systems, Full Stack Development (front end and backend), Scalable Enterprise Platforms and Applications, Application Security and Incident Management, Machine Learning, Information Retrieval or Natural language processing.

–          Experience with software development with one or more general programming languages (e.g. Java, C/C++, C#, Python, JavaScript, or Go).

–          Development experience with Unix/Linux.

Preferred qualifications:

–          Master’s, PhD degree, further education or equivalent practical experience in Engineering, Computer Science or other technical related field.

–          Ability to learn other coding languages as needed.

–          Demonstrated ability to share knowledge via formal mentoring, reviewing code, reviewing design documents, providing technical talks, teaching classes, or as a consultant on projects.

 

Sales and Account Management

Job location: Gurugram, India

As an account executive, the candidate has to discuss and advocate the value of G Suite. In this role, he/ she has to manage new initiatives or experiments. They will also work to develop the business growth of your assigned territory through campaigns, partner development and marketing events.

 

Qualifications

–           BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience.

–          Experience working with and presenting IaaS or PaaS products to customers.

–          Ability to speak and write in English fluently and idiomatically.

 

Preferred qualifications:

–          2 years of experience working with and presenting IaaS and/or PaaS products.

–          Experience in a Technical/Sales Engineering role. Experience using CRM systems (e.g. Salesforce.com, etc).

–           Understanding of the technology and cloud computing market, and a passion for Google Cloud products (G Suite, Google Cloud Platform).

–          Ability to build influential relationships and deliver results in a fast-paced, cross-functional team environment.

–          Effective organisational and project management capabilities. — Analytical and detail-oriented individual.

 

Language Manager (Hindi)

Job location: Gurugram, India

We collaborate with international Engineering, Product and Marketing teams to steer products through the localization process and ensure successful launches across the globe. Our team is an international collection of enthusiastic, creative and knowledgeable people who excel in a fast-paced, culturally diverse environment. You are an excellent communicator who plays a strategic role by building relationships with partner teams to establish needs, deadlines and budgets. You will flex your project management skills in order to ensure that our Localization process runs effectively and efficiently.

You have a passion for language. You want to shape Google’s voice in your market or region. Google’s mission is to make all of the world’s information universally accessible and useful and we take that seriously. You are an experienced Hindi translator, copywriter, linguist, writer or editor with a creative, marketing or localization background.

Google Technical Services is a global support and operations team, with a mission to delight our customers with care so good, it’s got to be Google. Our team is the face of Google to most of our customers, and we want their Google support experience to set new standards, just like Google’s products do. Our team cares for customers by solving problems and scaling solutions, incubating new Google products, and sharing user feedback with internal teams to influence product development. We support a wide variety of products, from Ads to Project Fi and just about everything in between, and our customers include advertisers, consumers, partners, publishers, retailers, and our own Sales Googlers.

Responsibilities

–          Work closely with Google’s translation and review vendors to ensure localization quality and monitor language quality. Develop a good understanding of market expectations for localization quality and how Google’s products fit in the market.

–          Form a critical part of the Google in-country “go-to-market” team with Marketing, Product and PR to drive localization of Google products. Work closely with local teams to develop specific terminology for new features and products, and shape the Google voice for the local market.

–          Work with localization project managers and other teams at Google to identify and address linguistic challenges. Maintain language references such as terminology databases and the style guide.

–          Ensure quality of high-priority products and highly visible materials through quality assurance and bug fixing, taking a hands-on approach as necessary.

–          Understand challenges in the localization process and lead broad language quality improvement initiatives at the language and team level, as well as upstream.

Qualifications

Minimum qualifications:

–          BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience.

–          Experience as a project manager or team leader

–          Experience as a Hindi translator, linguist, copywriter, writer or editor

–          Ability to speak and write in Hindi and English fluently and idiomatically

Preferred qualifications:

–          MBA or Master’s degree

–          Experience within creative, localization, journalism, public communications or the online marketing/advertising industry

–          Ability to relate to ambiguity, work independently and be able to chart direction of projects

–          Detail-oriented, quality-focused and proactive, with strong ability to manage projects

–          Excellent communication/ presentation skills and the ability to manage multiple and diverse stakeholders across businesses and leadership levels
