The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has declared the results of its 2016 civil services examination.
As per reports, KR Nandini from Karnataka bagged the first position, while Anmol Sher Singh Bedi and G Ronanki bagged the second and third positions, respectively.
Candidates who have appeared for the exam can check their results at upsc.gov.in.
In total, 1,099 candidates cleared the exam. The successful candidates will appear for the interview and based on their overall score, each one of them will be allocated one of the three streams — Indian Foreign Service (IFS), Indian Administrative Service (IAS), Indian Police Service (IPS).
The UPSC (Mains) exam was conducted in December. The examination has three stages — Preliminary, Mains and Interview.
