The event saw participation from 56 innovators across the country including IIT-Delhi.  The mentors finalised seven ideas which are being taken forward. The ideas will mature into proper business plans by the end of the workshop. They will then be evaluated by UNDP for a global rollout.

The Global Goals Week was launched in 2016 under the aegis of the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) with the United Nations Foundation. Their main aim is to offer an SDG-focused branding umbrella for key convening both within and alongside the UN General Assembly (UNGA).
