The state government, keeping up to its promise, have started bus services from Tarakeswar to different routes and named it Mahadev Express. Earlier, there were no state bus services from Tarakeswar.
Total five bus services on different routes will operate daily from Tarakeswar to Howrah, Burdwan, Bankura, Digha and Kolkata.
On the occasion of Shravani Mela, 40 state bus services from Kolkata to Tarakeswar have been allotted.
