The state government would table its Interim Budget on 2 February, for which the Assembly session would get underway on 31 January.
Informing this, the Speaker, Biman Banerjee today said that the Business Advisory (BA) committee meeting and the All-party meeting would be held on the same day, 30 January.
The Interim Budget would be the last one for the ruling dispensation before the Assembly election which is due this year.
On 2 February, the Budget would be tabled at 3 p.m. by the minister of state for finance Chandrima Bhattacharya. The Assembly session which would commence on 31 January, would have question and answer sessions.
The ongoing Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls and the unfolding situation would likely take centre stage in the discussions.
The session on 31 January would get underway with the address of the Governor.
