Veteran actor and BJP leader Mithun Chakraborty cast his vote at the Kashipur-Belgacchia constituency on Wednesday morning.
“There are more people who have stepped out to vote than ever,” Chakraborty said before entering the polling station.
The first phase of the West Bengal elections had recorded a voter turnout of 93.18 per cent.
