It was learnt that Miss Banerjee will prepare a road map for the ensuing panchayat election. She had expressed her displeasure over the party’s landslide defeat in the by-election in Sagardighi in Murshidabad. As the people belonging to the minority community did not vote for Trinamul, a team of four leaders belonging to the minority community was formed and the team has given its report to her. It was learnt the leaders had mentioned that the election of the candidate did not go in favour of the party. The party leaders said the drive to connect with the people had been a great success. The leaders and workers have visited every household and explained to them various projects taken up by the state government. There is not a single household that has not been covered by the schemes taken up by the state government.

In the all India context, Trinamul has launched a movement against the vindictive attitude of the investigating agencies. The allegations of corruption against the BJP leaders have not been looked into by the investigating agencies while media trials are being conducted by the vernacular television channels and some social media.

The party has decided to go all out against the malicious campaign launched by some groups in the social media.
