Tallah tank was set up in 1911 during British rule. The restoration work of the four blocks of the tank was started by the civic body in the year 2019. The four blocks of the tank were restored one after another to prevent disruption in water supply in the area.

Meanwhile, following complaints from the local residents, KMC has started demolition of an alleged illegal construction in Ward 134. The decision of demolition came after the building leaned and got tilted on the adjacent structure.
