The relative of a molestation victim, who is a resident of Ghojadanga village in Basirhat has lodged a complaint with the Superintendent of Police of North 24-Parganas, accusing Border Security Force (BSF) personnel of inaction.
It was alleged that the victim had moved out of her house at night to answer nature’s call. A few armed miscreants, she alleged, intercepted her and she screamed; her parents then rushed to the spot to help her.
The armed goons allegedly attacked the girl and her parents with choppers and butts of the guns. It was accused that the goons slashed the girl’s right palm, hurled a bomb at them and left the place.
On duty BSF officers, as alleged by the victim and her family, rushed to the spot after hearing them scream but left promising to come back with an ambulance. However, the officers didn’t returned.
The local villagers took the family to Basirhat hospital but the hospital transferred the injured father after examining his injuries to the R G Kar Medical College and Hospital where the hospital authorities allegedly failed to allot a bed to him.
