A number of municipalities across the Bankura district have recorded dengue cases and the municipal affairs department has asked the officials of the respective civic bodies to expedite fogging operations immediately. Also, dengue cases are on the rise in several villages in 11 blocks in Bankura.
According to the officials, 180 persons have been identified with dengue across the district. The district has Elisa test arrangements at the Bankura Sammiloni Medical College & Hospital. The NS 1, the primary test for dengue, however, is available at several private clinics in the district.
