Four automakers to recall over 11,000 vehicles for faulty components
Hyundai Motor, Mercedes-Benz Korea, and two other carmakers will recall over 11,000 vehicles due to faulty components, the transport ministry here said on Thursday.
With summer holiday approaching and people planning car trips and long drives, luxury car manufacturer Mercedes-Benz has announced to organise complimentary pre-holiday check-up camps for its cars across all authorised workshops in India from April 1 to May 31, 2018.
The camps will offer complimentary 82-point critical evaluation of a car by a certified team for long summer drives.
“Periodic service through preventive check of vehicles is critical for smooth functioning and performance of a Mercedes-Benz. This special pre-holiday camp before the onset of summers is aimed to identify and address any technical issue, for a hassle-free run during the harsh Indian summers. Though the Indian summers are harsh, our dedicated team of well-trained technical experts across authorised workshops will…enable our distinguished customers to have uninterrupted family holidays with hassle-free long drives in their cherished Mercedes-Benz,” Roland Folger, Managing Director and CEO, Mercedes-Benz India, said in Pune while speaking on the introduction of the initiative.

The company is also coming up with offers on genuine Mercedes-Benz accessories at the camps.
“Our customers will also get a chance to avail environment-friendly, easy-to-use and Mercedes-Benz-approved chemical products,” said the luxury car manufacturer.
As part of the Mercedes-Benz pre-holiday check-up camp, customers can avail the following offers:
* Complimentary AC checkup
* Complimentary checkup of tyres, brakes, fluid levels and all electronic and electrical systems
* Check-up of the vehicle system like oils, coolants, consumables, battery health, tyre condition, clutch/brakes operations, ssuspension check, horn/mirror operation
* Special offer on AC cleaning service
