Following the appointment of Bihar Minister of Road Construction Nitin Nabin as the BJP’s National Working President on Sunday, party workers celebrated at the state office in Patna. Party leaders and workers congratulated each other, burst firecrackers, and danced to the beats of drums and traditional instruments.

Bihar BJP President and Industry Minister Dr Dilip Jaiswal said that Bihar has received the gift of the NDA’s massive victory in the Assembly elections. He said that, for the first time, a leader from the Bihar state unit has been appointed as National Working President, which is a matter of pride for the state.

“Nitin Nabin is a diligent, resilient, and hardworking leader, and the party has rewarded him by entrusting him with such a major responsibility,” Dr Jaiswal said.

He expressed confidence that Nitin Nabin would take the organisation to new heights at the national level by infusing new energy among party workers.

Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar said it was a matter of great pride that a resident of Bihar has been appointed as the BJP’s National Working President.

“He has been elected MLA for the fifth time and is working with us in the Cabinet as an energetic colleague. He is a dedicated and disciplined politician. I hope that with this new responsibility, the BJP will gain further strength,” the Chief Minister said.

Congratulating Nitin Nabin, Bihar Deputy Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary said, “Your organisational experience and efficiency will infuse new energy into the party and strengthen the workers.”

Bihar Deputy Chief Minister Vijay Kumar Sinha also expressed confidence that the decision would strengthen the organisation not only in Bihar but across the country.

“Your rich organisational experience and efficiency will certainly provide new energy to the party and further strengthen the confidence and resolve of the workers,” he added.

Congratulating Nitin Nabin, Bihar JD(U) President Umesh Singh Kushwaha said that the young BJP leader has discharged his responsibilities as a minister in the Bihar government and as a legislator of his constituency with great dedication and efficiency. He expressed confidence that he will continue to discharge his duties in the party with the same dedication.
