Chasing a stiff target of 315 runs, Bangladesh were pretty much in the chase after 25 overs with the scoreboard reading 127/3 and Shabik Al Hasan and Liton Das in the middle.

For India, Mohammed Shami, Hardik Pandya and Yuzvendra Chahal have picked up a wicket each. Earlier in the innings, Tamim Iqbal and Soumya Sarkar were cautious to see off the new ball. However, just when it looked like the duo will look to accelerate, Shami broke through for India dismissing Tamim Iqbal for 22.

After winning the toss and electing to bat first, India managed 314/9 in their 50 overs. While Rohit Sharma was the star with the bat scoring his fourth century of the World Cup, there were useful contributions from KL Rahul (77), Rishabh Pant (48) and MS Dhoni (35).

The last three times India and Bangladesh have met in an ICC event (ICC World Cup 2015, ICC World T20 2016, ICC Champions Trophy 2017), Bangladesh have scared India big time, but on all these occasions, India somehow managed to hold their nerves and edge past Bangladesh.

However, this one is heading towards an exciting finish. Can the Bangla tigers turn their fortunes around?

We will find out in just a bit.
