New Zealand all-rounder Jimmy Neesham has requested the Indian fans to be “kind” and “resell” their tickets in case they don’t want to come to the final match of the ICC Cricket World Cup 2019 at Lord’s in London on Sunday (14 July). The final match will be played between New Zealand and hosts England.

Neesham took to social media app Twitter to write, “Dear Indian cricket fans. If you don’t want to come to the final anymore then please be kind and resell your tickets via the official platform. I know it’s tempting to try to make a large profit but please give all genuine cricket fans a chance to go, not just the wealthy.”

Notably, India, who were the table-toppers, were going flawlessly in the ongoing World Cup until they lost their semifinal match to New Zealand and got out of the tournament.

Meanwhile, the fans also showered love on Neesham’s request.
