Bhubaneswar, 21 July: KIIT University participated in the World Education Leaders’ Forum held in Busan, South Korea recently and signed Memorandum of Understandings (MoUs) with six Korean universities ~ Jungwon University, Hanbuk National University, Kyungpook National University, Chosun University, Dong-A University and Dong Uie University ~ and two African universities ~ Kenyatta University and Open University of Tanzania ~ during the meet. According to the MoUs signed, students of KIIT would get opportunity to visit the universities in Korea and Africa. Travelling expenses would be partially borne by KIIT, while lodging and boarding would be taken care of by the host universities, said a release issued by KIIT here. The secretary general of the Forum, Prof. Lee Hakchun, expressed his desire to establish Korean Education Centre at KIIT University.
Mr Young Woo Jin, CEO of UNHWA Corporation, South Korea, a bio-venture company, showed keenness in recruiting students from the School of Biotechnology, KIIT. sns
