Baripada, 3 September: Special DGP Sanjib Marik today asked the police to instil a sense of confidence among the people as they fear visiting police stations for seeking help.
Speaking as the chief guest in the passing out parade of the first Batch of India Reserve Battalion, Mr Marik expressed happiness over their rigorous training to combat the left wing ultras that has hit several districts. Mr Marik took the salute in the passing out parade held at Laxmiposi participated by 377 constables. ADG Arun Kumar Ray, DIG OSAP Dayal Gangwar, Commandant of OSAP 5thbattalion Satish Gajbhiye and Mayurbhanj SP Nikhil Kanoria were present.
377 constables had undergone training for nine months.     pti
