Sambalpur, 4 October: Senior BJP leader Mr Suresh Pujari suggested the Centre to bring an ordinance for setting up permanent benches of Orissa High Court in western and southern Odisha.
Mr Pujari, presently the BJP&’s state spokesperson and a former state president, came out the proposal while attending an interaction session at Sambalpur Press Club.
“The ball is now in the Centre&’s court. It should bring out an ordinance without any delay,” he said.
“If the Centre wants it can establish a High Court bench within only 24 hours,” he remarked. Dismissing the apprehension of some sections over the HC bench, he said that its establishment would facilitate justice at people&’s doorsteps and will also work for the unity of the state.     sns
