Domestic mobile manufacturer Alcatel on Monday launched an entry-level, six-inch phablet packed with polaroid software for the Indian consumers at Rs. 9,100.

Following the success of PIXI series, the 4G/VoLTE-enabled "PIXI 4" houses speakers enhanced by French software company Arkamys.

"Looking at affordability of data packages and availability of video content on demand, we expect growth in 6" 4G VoLTE segment. The new PIXI 4 6" will continue the legacy of improvised polaroid software, better movie experience and faster browsing," said Praveen Valecha, Regional Director, Alcatel India, in a statement.
