Peta seeks honour for Raju Srivastava

The People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) India has written to union minister for fisheries, animal husbandry and dairy, Parshottam Rupala, requesting him to honour late comedian Raju Srivastava for his contribution in prohibiting illegal spiked bits which are used to control horses.

PETA reiterates demand for ban on dog breeds

This comes on the heels of other recent pit bull attacks -- in Meerut, where a teenager was critically injured by a pit bull; in Lucknow, where an elderly woman was mauled to death by a pit bull.
