After Charaksapath, med council makes yoga must for MBBS

The circular has prompted different doctors' bodies to launch protest against the move. Medical Service Centre (MSC) has threatened to launch state-wide protest against the NMC's recommendation for Yoga in foundation course of MBBS students. "This is an attempt to saffronise the medical curriculum and we strongly protest the move," MSC said.

Pandemic management to be part of MBBS curriculum: MCI

The initiative of the programme will enable the young MBBS doctors to be prepared for the unknownto be able to understand, investigate, treat and prevent new and emerging diseases with their clinical eyes, community leadership and healing touch. An advisory issued by the MCI on 13 February has directed the principals of all medical colleges saying, “Post Graduate Medical Education Training is based on the principle of affording as much exposure as possible to all the related specialities/streams that form a part of their parent speciality discipline.”
