Kohli docked for beaching IPL code of conduct
As the KKR team celebrated the prized scalp, Kohli went up to the umpire to review the call as he felt it was a waist-high no-ball.
While Kohli is enjoying his outing in Sri Lanka, the BCCI gave him a throwback on Friday.
India’s star skipper Virat Kohli is undoubtedly as stylish as aggressive he appears in the field. While Kohli is enjoying his outing in Sri Lanka, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) gave him a throwback on Friday.
“Few things never change – only the legend grows. #ThisDayThatYear In 2008, @imVkohli sat on this very chair during his debut game #SLvIND,” the BCCI tweeted, sharing a picture of Kohli sitting on the old chair.

Nine years ago, Kohli made his ODI debut at Dambulla in Sri Lanka. Although Kohli managed to hit just 12 runs in a low-scoring game that India lost by eight wickets, he later emerged as one of the best batsmen ever played in ODI cricket.
Having played 189 ODI matches, the 28-year-old batsman has scored 8,257 runs for India, with 28 tons and 43 half tons.
This isn’t the first time when the Delhi batsman broke the internet with his lively picture. Earlier in the day also, Kohli had posted a picture of himself enjoying the beauty of Dambulla valley.
“At Dambulla for the ODIs now, another beautiful location,” Kohli, dressed in India jersey, captioned the photograph.

In fact, Kohli had started posting pictures of irresistible nature’s paradise since the time he landed at Galle for the first Test.
“If only I could wake up to this every morning!! #Blissful,” he tweeted on 24 July, ahead of the first Test.
