Top-seeded Ghosal defeated Englishman Joe Lee 12-10 11-5 11-7 in the quarterfinals late on Wednesday night.
But it was curtains for Mahesh and Vikram as they failed to seal their places in the last four round.

While Mahesh lost to 11-9 12-10 11-7 to third seed Tom Richards of England, Vikram was shown the door 12-10 11-7 8-11 11-8 by Malaysia's Adnan.
