Udinese stun toothless Juve in Serie A
Juventus are seemingly out of the race for the Serie A title, as they sank to a shock 1-0 home defeat to Udinese.
Juventus forward Gonzalo Higuain has undergone surgery to repair a fractured finger on his left hand, the Serie A defending champions announced.
The Italian football club, however, did not reveal when the Argentine forward was expected to return to competition, reports Efe.
“The operation, which lasted approximately 45 minutes and concluded successfully, was carried out by Dr. L. Pegoli, Professor R. Rossi and (Juventus) medical staff, in the attendance of club doctor, Claudio Rigo, at the Sede Sapientiae di Torino clinic,” the team said.

Higuain suffered the injury in Sunday’s 3-0 win over Crotone.
The 29-year-old Higuain joined Juventus in 2016 from arch-rival Napoli for a record 90 million euros ($107.14 million), prompting fans of his former club to call him a traitor.
Juventus has three matches scheduled in the first 10 days of December.
In Serie A, Juve will face Napoli on December 1 and Inter Milan on December 9. The Turin side’s final UEFA Champions League group stage match is set for December 5 against Olympiacos.
