Assam Chief Minister Tarun Gogoi has ordered the authorities concerned not to stop any patient carrying ambulance and other essential services to give way for the CM’s convoy.

In a directive, Gogoi said that essential services like fire brigades, ambulances, should not be stopped in the name of security to the Chief Minister’s convoy causing inconveniences to the people in need, a government release said on Tuesday.

The order will come into force with immediate effect, the release said. On the completion of one-year by the NDA government and its reported promise to bring ‘acche din’ (good days) back, Gogoi today tweeted that ‘acche din’ has ambivalently come only to ModiA Chief Minister’ Office release said Gogoi also tweeted that ‘acche din’ for the common masses still remains a distant dream.
