Arunachal Pradesh Governor J P Rajkhowa has called upon the newly inducted ministers to eradicate corruption and make the state corruption-free.

Interacting with the newly inducted ministers led by Chief Minister Kalikho Pul at Raj Bhawan on Saturday, the governor urged them to provide a transparent and people-oriented government, an official release said here on Sunday.

Rajkhowa advised them to focus on roads and said that "only through roads, Arunachal Pradesh can develop."

The chief minister had briefed the governor on the priorities of the government, particularly critical service sectors like roads, law and order, health and education, the release said.
