Birthday greetings poured in for Prime Minister Narendra Modi on the social media on Sunday. Cabinet colleagues, political adversaries, envoys and his admirers among the masses wished him on his 67th birthday.

The BJP is observing the day as ‘Seva Diwas’ across the country.

BJP leaders and ministers will attend medical camps, blood donation events and take part in cleanliness drives.

The PM began his day by seeking his mother’s blessings in Gujarat and soon wishes started pouring in on social media.

Modi was born to Hiraba and Damodardas Modi in Vadnagar in Gujarat’s Mehsana district on September 17, 1950.

Finance Minister Arun Jaitley wished Modi on his birthday and said that day will be observed as ‘Seva Diwas’.

Amit Shah in a tweet wished Modi on his birthday and observed ‘Sewa Diwas’.

Defence Minister Nirmala Sitharaman greeted PM Modi on his birthday and participated in ‘Sewa Diwas’.

Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh wished PM Modi on his birthday, and said Modi’s “leadership has immensely benefited the nation”.

Smriti Irani, the Union Textiles, Information &Broadcasting Minister, also wished the PM on twitter and said that PM is an “inspiration to millions”.

Congress vice-president Rahul Gandhi took to twitter to wish PM Modi on his birthday.

Another Congress leader Digvijaya Singh also wished him on his birthday.

Cricketer Suresh Raina tweeted a photo with PM Modi and said “you motivate and drive people to do best”.

Bollywood director Madhur Bhandarkar greeted PM Modi and called him a “dynamic, Hard working & visionary”.

United States Ambassador to India, MaryKay loss Carlson, also wished PM on his birthday and tweeted a video of Modi with President of United States of America Donald Trump.

On Sunday, the Prime Minister will dedicated the Sardar Sarovar Dam to the nation. The dam, which is world’s second biggest, will generate up to a billion units of hydropower annually. He also addressed public meetings at Dabhoi and Amreli.
