Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath heaped praises on the Prime Minister for the success of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in Gujarat and Himachal Pradesh,saying there is no alternative to Narendra Modi in India.
While addressing the media, Adityanath congratulated the BJP party workers and cadres for the party’s win the states.
“People all over the world have appreciated the Gujarat model but Congress has raised questions. This is a lesson for the Congress and the opposition parties,” Adityanath said.

victory in Himachal Pradesh and Gujarat was a lesson for the Congress and those who had criticised the “Gujarat model” of development, added Adityanath.
Adityanath said that the people have rejected divisive politics of Congress, this win is due to the dynamic leadership of the party and the hard work of BJP workers.
Taking a jibe at Rahul Gandhi, Adityanth said that appointment of new Congress party chief has been beneficial for the BJP.
Earlier on Monday, Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh said that the BJP will get “clear majority” in Gujarat and Himachal Pradesh as early trends indicated a victory for the party in both the states.
“The trends are on expected lines… we will get clear majority in both states. We will form the government,” Rajnath told reporters outside Parliament House.
Gujarat deputy Chief Minister Nitin Patel on Monday also said that he was confident of retaining his seat and an overall victory of the BJP.
