Capital city no longer an issue in Andhra Pradesh
Ten years after its bifurcation, Andhra Pradesh still does not have a capital. But what’s more surprising is that the lack of capital has even ceased to be an issue in this election.
President Ram Nath Kovind on Thursday arrived in Visakhapatnam on his maiden two-day visit to Andhra Pradesh after assuming office.
The office of the President of India tweeted: “President Kovind arrives in Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh on his first visit to the city as President of India.”
