Tamil Nadu BJP chief K. Annamalai said on Friday that the Bharatiya Janata Party will register a historic victory in the state in the Lok Sabha elections.
Political leaders across party lines took to Twitter to acknowledge and celebrate Bharatiya Janata party’s victory in Gujarat and Himachal Pradesh Assembly elections 2017.
BJP is set to form the 6th consecutive government in Gujarat, while they pushed Congress government out of Himachal.
According to the latest trends by the Election Commission, the BJP took an early lead after the counting of votes, which began at 8 AM on Monday. However, Congress is giving a tough fight to BJP in Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s home state.

So far, the Bharatiya Janata Party has won 70 seats in the state and is leading on 29 other seats while Congress has won over 60 seats and is leading on 15 other seats.
