Modi hopes to break 2014 and 2019 records under Yogi’s leadership
The prime minister hoped of an unexpected victory for the BJP in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections attributing it to CM Yogi's commitment to good governance and development.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday congratulated Amarinder Singh on taking over as Punjab chief minister and wished him the best in working for the state's development.
"Congratulations @capt_amarinder on taking oath as CM. Wishing you the very best in working for Punjabs development," Modi tweeted.
The tweet came soon after Amarinder, who led Congress to a resounding victory in the Assembly polls, was sworn in as the chief minister.
