Pakistan Army violates ceasefire in Kashmir

Pakistani troops on Wednesday resorted to unprovoked firing on the Indian post along the Line of Control (LoC) in Poonch District of Jammu and Kashmir.

There are no reports of any casualty in the firing, Official said.

As per Defence Ministry official, Pakistan Army opened fire at 8.15 a.m. They used mortars, automatics and small arms. Indian positions retaliated strongly and effectively.

India and Pakistan entered into a ceasefire in 2003 along the LoC, which divides Jammu and Kashmir between the two countries.
