Paying a visit to Deekshabhoomi, a holy spot associated with B R Ambedkar and giving away awards to winners of Lucky Grahak Yojana and DigiDhan Vyapar Yojna in Pune will form Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s itinerary for the Amdebkar Jayanti function on Friday.

Modi gave details of his programme for the Ambedkar Jayanti function in Pune on twitter. “I am extremely honoured to be visiting Nagpur tomorrow, on the very special occasion of Ambedkar Jayanti. In Nagpur, I will pray at Deekshabhoomi, a holy spot that is very closely associated with Dr Ambedkar," he tweeted.

“A series of development projects are going to be inaugurated in Nagpur tomorrow, which will have a positive impact on people’s lives,” he said.
