The HBSE Class-10 exams 2016 were held in March. More than three lakh students appeared for the examination out of which, only 48.8 per cent students have passed.

Almost 70,000 students have got a compartment in some or the other subject.

A district-wise analysis of the results shows that the highest pass percentage of a given district in the state is the Sonepat district which tops the list with a pass percentage of mere 69.84 per cent.

The lowest pass percentage is 34.47 per cent which was scored by the students of Faridabad district. In fact, in the Class-12 results of the Haryana Board which were released a few days ago, the district had scored a pass percentage of only 43.91 per cent.

Others in the worst performers list included Yamunanagar at 37.49 per cent, Karnal with a pass percentage of 37.68 per cent, and Panchkula district with a pass percentage of 39.33 per cent only.

A surprising performer which has emerged is Mewat district, which has scored a pass percentage of 49.33 per cent this year, as compared to the 2015&’s pass percentage of 25.46 per cent.

Of the total number of students who have passed, girl students have outshone their male counterparts again with an overall pass percentage of 52.62, while the latter&’s pass percentage stood at 45.71 per cent.

Unlike the rest of the country, it is the private schools in the state which have done better in the state with an overall pass percentage of 50.99 per cent where as the government schools have scored 42.25 per cent.

This year&’s results have also shown that the students from rural areas have scored a pass percentage of 50.21 per cent, while their urban counterparts a mere 47 per cent only.

Last year, the overall pass percentage stood at 45.8 per cent.

In order to check the marks, students need to log on to any one of the official government websites, Once the homepage open, go to the ‘Class-10 Results 2016’ section. You will be redirected to a new page where you will be required to enter in your personal details mentioned on your hall ticket. Your results will be displayed on the screen when you click on ‘Submit’. You can save a copy of the results on to your computer or take a print of the same for future reference.
