Battle 2024: Opposition parties yet to start campaigning in UP
None of the opposition parties of the Congress, Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) or the Samajwadi Party (SP) have announced the election programs of their key leaders.
Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) chief Amit Shah on Tuesday asked voters of poll-bound Gujarat to choose between votebank politics, practiced by the Congress or development politics of the BJP.
Addressing a public gathering in Bhavnagar, Shah challenged the Congress to fight the Assembly elections on real issues.
“They (Congress) have no real issues to fight on and just want to oppose PM Modi,” Shah said who later accompanied Gujarat BJP chief Jitu Vaghani as he filed his nomination papers from Bhavnagar west assembly seat.

“The Congress only believes in politics of appeasement and votebank whereas the BJP believes in development, it’s upto you to choose the right party to head the state,” he added.
