BJP leadership is looking at the RSS to pick candidates for 2024 Lok Sabha polls in five constituencies of Uttarakhand and
Congress leader Digvijaya Singh on Monday, reacting to the bail granted to 2008 Malegaon blast main accused Lt. Col. Prasad Shrikant Purohit, accused the BJP government was “trying to protect all accused connected with RSS”.
“Col. Purohit gets Bail. It was expected as the present BJP government is protecting all the accused connected with RSS in all bomb blast cases,” he tweeted.
“NIA Chief has been given two extensions to ensure their acquittal. He may now be further rewarded for a suitable post retirement position,” he said in another tweet.

The Supreme Court on Monday granted bail to Purohit, the main accused in the 2008 Malegaon blast which killed seven people after he had spent nine years in prison.
