Many large companies to move Appellate Authority against GST demand notices
In recent days, an increasing number of GST notices have been sent to many companies mainly on account of alleged discrepancy in input tax credit (ITC).
With a few days left for the for Goods and Services Tax (GST) rollout, Minister of State for Civil Aviation Jayant Sinha on Tuesday said the aviation sector is fully prepared to implement the new tax regime from 1 July.
"Aviation sector fully prepared for rollout on July 1 and many issues were clarified in the previous meeting," the minister said.
“We are having another meeting soon where we will be providing further details and making sure all systems are good for the rollout,” he added.

"We have received very comprehensive and extensive feedback from many stakeholders, going through all of them," he said, adding, "National no-fly list rules are currently being prepared, will be issuing it in first week of July."
According to reports, the government is planning to roll out the GST regime on the midnight of 30 June at the Central Hall of the Parliament, after all states reached a consensus on the bill on Sunday.
The GST will require firms to file three online returns each month. Some business lobby groups have been seeking more time.
