Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader Raghav Chadha on Wednesday stepped up its attack on the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and asked its leaders to disclose their relations with ‘scam-tainted’ former Indian Premiere League (IPL) Commissioner Lalit Modi.

He took to Twitter and posted four questions related to Lalitgate controversy.

He wrote: “Q1) Is there any minister in PM Modi&’s Cabinet whose spouse &/or children were offered job/ directorship in a company by Lalit Modi?

“Q2) Shud minister&’s spouse be involved in commercial transaction/pecuniary interest with a person/business ie subject matter of the Ministry?

“Q3) Shdn’t such disclosures be made in public interest? Doesn’t it tantamount to conflict of interest, infringement of public trust & Quid Pro Quo?

“Q4)If irrefutably established that Lalit Modi offered directorship to a spouse of a senior cabinet minister, will PM Modi sack the minister?”

The BJP government is at the centre of storm surrounding its External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj and Rajasthan Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje for helping Modi to get his travel documents.

With new revelations everyday from the opposition parties, the saffron party has been on the back foot.

Chadha also demanded that Modi&’s ministers should make “complete disclosure of all commercial dealings/pecuniary interests including those of their spouse/children.”

“Demand 2) Bring a ‘conflict of interest’ law. Governance is best served by clear rules, not by vague principles twisted by conniving ministers.”
