Jammu and Kashmir: Migrant labourer from Bihar shot dead by terrorists in Anantnag
The victim, whom the police identified as Raju Sah of Bihar, succumbed to injuries during treatment.
Two Hizbul Mujahideen (HM) militants were killed and one was captured alive in an encounter at Khudwani in the Kulgam district of South Kashmir on Monday.
The deceased militants have been identified as Sayar Ahmad Wani and Dawood Iillahi Khan. AK-47 rifles and ammunition has been recovered from the encounter site.
Earlier, security forces had launched a search operation and cordoned off the village following information about presence of militants in the area.

During the search operation the militants opened fire at the security forces resulting in an encounter.
One Army personnel was reportedly injured during the encounter.
This is the second incident of a militant being captured alive. In an encounter on Sunday in Shopian two militant were killed and one was captured.
Capturing militants alive has great significance for the security forces, as vital information about activities of terrorists and terror groups can be obtained from them.
