Actor Aparshakti Khurana says music is the best way to connect with the Almighty, adding that singing reality TV show Om Shanti Om has brought positivity into his life.

Aparshakti hosts the show, which is aired on Star Bharat.

“I was always a very positive person in life. The show has definitely made me more positive. I think music is the best way to connect with the Almighty,” Aparshakti said in a statement.

Aparshakti broke down during the performance of ten-year-old Zaid Ali for the Dusshera special episode. Composer and judge Shekhar Ravjiani had to step in to comfort him.

Talking about it, Aparshakti said: “Every time Zaid sings I connect even more because he has a certain kind of innocence in his voice.”

The show also features actress Sonakshi Sinha and singer Kanika Kapoor as judges, while yoga guru Baba Ramdev is the Maha Guru.
