‘Metro In Dino’ gets new release date: November 29
Aditya Roy Kapur and Sara Ali Khan's rom-com "Metro In Dino" sets a new release date for November 29, offering contemporary tales of human relationships.
Ranbir-Katrina fans now have more reasons to rejoice. Director Anurag Basu has revealed that Jagga Jasoos, which stars Ranbir and Katrina in lead roles, will be a musical treat for the audience.
“Jagga Jasoos is a full-on musical and everything in the film is said in a musical form," the director said. The film’s trailer as well as its newly released songs Ullu ka Pattha and Galti se Mistake have already garnered a lot of attention.
Basu has, however, cleared that the film is not a Broadway-styled musical and maintains an Indian tone. “I wouldn’t say it’s a Broadway-styled musical. It is far more Indian in tone and treatment. It wasn’t difficult for me to do the musical format on the screen. I’ve done the format in theatre. So it was only a matter of translocating the format.”

The film’s music has been scored by Pritam, who Basu credits as being the real power behind Jagga Jasoos. “Without Pritamda Jagga Jasoos wouldn’t have been possible,” the director says.
Disney and Pictureshuru Production’s Jagga Jasoos is set to release on 14 July 2017.
