The trio of Salman, Aamir and Shah Rukh Khan are perhaps the biggest superstars who have ruled Bollywood for close to three decades now. And despite their age, the stars are still going strong and giving a tough fight to the young lot of actors! But who among the three is the leader in terms of highest grossing films? Let’s have a look.

Ten years ago, in 2007, SRK’s Om Shanti Om was the biggest blockbuster of the year but now ranks among the movies with the lowest lifetime collections in the Khan faction.

While late 90s and early 2000s belonged to King Khan (Shah Rukh Khan), as he ruled ruled the industry with his romantic hits, the scenario has changed now with the other two Khans overtaking SRK.

Salman and Aamir have shown tremendous growth in terms of choice of films and experimenting with new characters. Movies of both the actors have broken several records at home and abroad while setting benchmarks for others.

The facts indicate that Aamir and Salman have in the last decade managed to dethrone SRK as ‘King Khan’ and with five films in the list, Mr. Perfectionist, Aamir is clearly the leader followed closely by Salman with four films.

However, it will be interesting to see the duo fight it out at the box office later this year as both the stars are ready with their new movies Secret Superstar (Aamir) and Tiger Zinda Hai (Salman). Let the games begin!
