Kriti Sanon goes back to her roots!

Kriti Sanon took time out to visit Delhi and be the Guest of Honour for her ex-principal of school, Dr. Shyama Chona.

Dr. Chona runs Tamana school of hope for autistic kids and was organizing the annual charity fashion walk by Tamana kids and Kriti walked as the show stopper for the show.

The cause was supported by FDCI and renowned fashion designers. Dr. Chona felt that Kriti’s presence will make the message go wider.

The money collected by the show was given/used for the autistic kids of Tamana school of hope.

When asked Kriti, she shared “I have seen the amazing work that Tamana Foundation has been doing since i was in school and i also wanted to be a part of the cause. I’m glad that i got the opportunity to contribute my little bit. Mrs. Shyama Chona was my principal, Abha Chona ma’am has been my class teacher and i had met Tamana many times during my school days, so it felt like coming home.”

Kriti’s last movie became a sleeper hit of the year, where Kriti for the first time played a de-glam role of a girl from Bareilly.

Currently, Kriti is in Spain for her work commitments.

Superstar Amitabh Bachchan, who recently watched Bareilly Ki Barfi, reviewed it as ‘a delightful film’ with ‘competent and excellent performances’ on Twitter. The 74-year-old actor also sent a bouquet of flowers to Kriti Sanon with a handwritten note, a picture of which was shared by her on Instagram.
