Bollywood actress Katrina Kaif candidly discusses the pressures of conforming to unrealistic beauty standards and the importance of self-acceptance in a recent interview.
While Katrina Kaif’s rapport with her ‘Jagga Jasoos’ co-star Ranbir Kapoor is grabbing headlines these days, a throwback picture of the former model has taken the internet by storm. The picture, posted on a social media platform by model Shamita Singha, shows Katrina posing with former Libyan dictator Muammar Gaddafi.
Neha Dhupia, along with models Aditi Gowitrikar and Anchal Kumar, are also seen in the picture, which Shamita claims was taken 15 years back during a fashion show in Libya. Tagging Katrina, Aditi and Anchal, Shamita wrote, “Almost 15 years ago when we all were in Libya for a fashion show and had the privilege of meeting the man Mr. Gaddafi himself! Girls! The picture was taken at a time when Katrina was one of the sought-after models in the country and had not ventured into films full-time. The former model has since been part of many Bollywood hits, including ‘Ek Tha Tiger’, ‘Ajab Prem Ki Gajab Kahani’ and ‘Rajneeti’ among others.
