Arjun Kapoor gets nostalgic as ‘2 States’ hits 10-year mark
Actor Arjun Kapoor reminisces as romantic drama '2 States' celebrates its 10th anniversary, sharing a heartfelt tribute on social media.
Recently in a podcast interview, actor Alia Bhatt expressed her admiration for Deepika Padukone’s character in Padmavati. She had mentioned that she can never step in the shoes of Deepika, as she looks absolutely fabulous as a fierce and elegant queen.
“I’ve not seen the performance yet but I saw the trailer, I think Padmavati…. Deepika as Padmavati was just so fabulous and I know I can never look like that or act like that. She just looks like a Queen and I told her also ‘you are so lovely and so inspiring’,
“I just know she is going to nail it in that film I just get that sense. I’m really looking forward to this one,” Alia added.

The praises didn’t go un-noticed at Deepika’s end and she reverted to it in the cutest way ever. When Deepika got to know about the praises heaped on her by Alia, the former took to her Twitter and replied to Alia with the most adorable words possible.

Deepika has been gathering a lot of love and praise from fans and critics for essaying the role of Rani Padmini in Padmavati.
She will be seen sharing screen space with Shahid Kapoor for the first time in this Sanjay Leela Bhansali film.
Padmavati is slated to release on December 1.
