Blaming mismanagement on regulating prices of pulses in the capital, Delhi BJP president Satish Upadhyay, on Tuesday condemned the Kejriwal Government for playing with emotions of the common man on basic necessities like pulses. "Raising the issue of pulses in the Assembly on Tuesday by the ruling party MLAs without offering any solution was a cruel joke on the people," said Upadhyay.

Upadhyay said that this is not the first time that Delhi is facing scarcity of pulses due to crop shortage resulting in price rise but the governments in the past be it of Sahib Singh Verma or Sheila Dikshit instead of engaging in blame game arranged sale of pulses and wheat through the Public Distribution System at subsidised rates.

Unfortunately unlike the predecessor governments, Kejriwal is evading responsibility towards the common people and just playing blame games. Upadhyay also said that if the Kejriwal government is really concerned for the people it should ensure subsidised sale of pulses in Delhi till the next crop comes and scarcity of pulses end.
